Bring Africa to the playground with these fun safari footprints. These stone teaching aids have 8 different animal footprints to them. They are double sided with one side featuring the animal image and the other a raised footprint of the animal. Press the footprint into the sand, mud or soil and create mystery tracks for the children to follow. Set out some clues for them to have them trying to solve they footprint mystery. These are also great to bury in the sand and have the children play the role of an archaeologist as they uncover the footprints and work out which animal they belong to.

The Safari Footprints stones are durable and robust to take a lot of wear and tear while still maintaining their shape and function. The stones can get wet and dry quickly to be able to be stored away for play on another day.

A great way for educators to encourage science discovery to stimulate questions such as does it have claws, nails or hooves? Educators can also play a matching game of the image to the footprint. Let the children experiment with their own footprints and compare to the animal prints. Are any footprints similar? what shape are they? A fun filled lesson to stimulate investigative behaviour in children. The stones are made from a unique stone mix robust enough to be used throughout an early years setting. An excellent addition to the indoor out outdoor learning environment. Set consists of 8 double-sided stones with the raised footprint of an animal on one side and an image of the animal indented on the opposite side.
