FOOLS GOLD

Fool's Gold or Pyrite is an iron sulphide with a metallic cluster which has lead many miner to mistaken it for gold. Its name 'Pyrite' originates in Ancient Greece describe a mineral that strikes fire. It was used as an easy tool in igniting fires.

Pyrite is coveted for its metaphysical properties as well as used for scientific reference and geologic collections.
